New Directory Photo Opportunity

Hello Beautiful Grace Filled People!

One of my favorite things is our church directory. As someone who struggles to remember names, it helps me so much to look at the photos and to place the faces that I love with the right names. One of the things that the staff noticed is that we have a lot of members who have photos that are out dated or no photo at all. We have asked Kayla Garrett (who has a photography business) to contract with us to provide an opportunity to take your pictures! On Sunday March 26th and Sunday April 2nd, you can have your family photo taken. It only take about 10 minutes. You can sign up here.

Some of my favorite “out of date photos” are Jenny Edwards and Alec Davis with their two sons Tucker and Thatcher. In their photo they are holding the boys in their arms. Yet I know that both of these boys are now in the youth group! You may not recognize Alec because he has long hair now.

Another fun one is the Baggett family. Joel and Megan haven’t changed at all but Claire and Emma are in the youth group as well. Claire is a Senior this year and will be doing the preaching on Senior Sunday.

You may not know but you can update and submit a picture on your own. Open the directory and in the top left corner touch “Menu.” Then choose from the drop down options “Edit My Family”. Once you are on this page you can change your information and upload a new photo. If you change address or email, you can also change those on this page.

If you are wondering why you don’t know about the Church Directory, we offer it to frequent visitors and members only. We switched to a digital format because we saved a lot of trees and it can stay up to date. For the safety of the information, we send a link with an access code for you to gain entry. We require folks to have been actively attending for at least six months before we add them to the church directory. Most of the time, people are added when they join the church or after them have attended the Faith Welcome and have requested it.
