Each year, we offer an opportunity for our congregation to serve children in the Osage County DHS foster program by purchasing Christmas gifts. We’ve been participating in this ministry for over 30 years! Here’s how you can help:
ADOPT A CHILD:
If you are willing to adopt a child and shop for gifts on their behalf, please click the “ADOPT A CHILD” button below to submit a request. You will have the option of returning the purchased gifts to the church, or you can ship them directly to the Osage County DHS Office (Ship to: Loretta Sweet, Osage County Department of Human Services, 1100 Virginia Short Street, Pawhuska, OK 74056).
We ask that you spend approximately $125 per child. This is most likely one of the only gifts these children will receive, so thank you for your generous contributions over the years.
Return Gifts to the Church on December 8 between 10am - 12pm to the truck in the West parking lot.
Please DO NOT WRAP gifts. Foster parents enjoy doing this for the children. If you wish, you may include paper or bags with your gifts.
Make sure to label your items with the child's identification number. If you ship the items, please include this information in the shipping notes.
DONATE MONEY:
If you would feel more comfortable making a financial donation, Faith Kids and Faith Youth would be happy to shop for a child on your behalf as part of our Shop-A-Thon event on Sunday, December 8.
You can send a check to the church with the memo “Osage Gift Ministry”, or click the link below to give online. After all the children have been adopted, any additional funds that have been raised will go directly to supporting Care Portal Ministries and their work with DHS families.

Click the “Donate Money” link below to be directed to our payment home page
Find the red Osage Gift Ministry image and click the blue button that says “Give”
Enter in the amount you would like to donate (suggested donation is $125 to cover the cost of one child)
Choose the “Once, now” option under frequency, then press the blue “Add to Basket” button
On the next page, press the “Continue to Payment” button
Input your credit card or bank account information, then press the “Continue to Review” button
When you are ready to confirm your donation, press the blue “Submit” button to finish the transaction
